Here’s What Eva Mendes Had To Say To People Who Accused Her Of “Complaining” About Her Fame After She Shared Her Discomfort At Being Photographed By The Paparazzi In Public

After sharing an Instagram video of herself shaking her head alongside the caption, “When my kids ask me if they’re old enough to go on the internet, social media or anything requiring wifi,” Eva replied to a ton of comments about her parenting style.
When one user asked when she’ll let her kids access social media sites, Eva replied, “Honestly, I don’t know. I’ll have to see where it goes. For now, I’m observing them and keeping up with research about how social media can impact a child’s brain. I’m taking it stage by stage.”
In a separate comment, Eva acknowledged the dangers of letting her kids have access to the internet: “In my house, children do not have access to the Internet. It’s too dangerous. Just like drinking or voting or getting a driver’s license (etc.) isn’t allowed for children, the Internet falls under that category for me, especially social media,” she wrote.
Additionally, Eva and Ryan do not share photos of their kids on their social media pages.
And Eva also hit back at some people who suggested that she was “complaining” about her fame simply because she shared her discomfort at being photographed by paparazzi.
“im not saying I don’t expect it -I’m saying I put a guard up. Which I’m happy to do. I like that I don’t parade out there. But I feel like I can let my guard down on my page,” she told one user, while replying to someone else, “I’m def not complaining – but once I feel cameras it’s like I turn off and go cold. Unless I’m at work of course.”
